It is still performing exceptionally well at the box office. PS 1 is a historical fiction based on the popular Tamil literary novel of the same name, written by Kalki Krishnamurthy. It also has former beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha Krishnan, Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi and Karthi in the lead roles.
