It is known that the creative and talented film maker Shankar is currently working for big budget drama Indian 2 which has versatile actor Kamal Haasan in the lead role. If ongoing buzz in the media and the film industry are to be believed, versatile Kollywood actor SJ Suryah, who is currently busy with multiple projects, will play the main villain in Indian 2, which stars Kamal Haasan in the lead role. It is said that SJ Suryah has completed his portion of Indian 2 and was paid huge remuneration for his role. However, an official confirmation from the Indian 2 team regarding the inclusion of SJ Suryah is still awaited.
Indian 2 also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram and Samuthirakani. The upcoming drama is backed by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions and DMK Youth Wing Secretary and MLA Udhayanidhi Stalin via Red Giant Movies.
Recently during the media interaction, Siddharth spoke about working with Kamal Haasan in Indian 2 and said, “I am really excited to see myself in this film working again with director Shankar, who launched me in Indian film industry. “ Right now, the young actor Siddarth is looking forward to his film Takkar, which hits theatres on June 9.
