Rebel Star Prabhas’ futuristic film Project K is progressing at the brisk pace under the direction of creative director Nag Ashwin,  who is best known for helming blockbuster movie Mahanti, is one of the highest-budgeted movies ever in Indian cinema. Nag Ashwin took special care of the script and other pre-production formalities as well. He even made a public appeal to Anand Mahindra, requesting automobile technology from his business Mahindra Group for his directorial venture Project K. The movie needed Mahindra Group’s assistance in developing the future automobiles for this science fiction drama and Anand Mahindra is lending full support. Deepika Padukone is playing the female lead. According to the latest report, Asian Cinemas, one of the noted production houses, which is into film distribution, acquired the theatrical rights of Prabhas and Depika Padukone starrer Project K for the Nizam region.

 The sources revealed that the Nizam rights have been sold for a whopping Rs 70 cr. An official announcement will be made in the coming days.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in a crucial role in this high-budget project which also had Loafer girl Disha Patani in the important role.

 Project K is being produced by Aswani Dutt under his home banner Vyjayanthi Movies.
