Veteran actor Prakash Raj has apologized to another actor Siddharth on behalf of the people of Karnataka. Siddharth came to Bangalore to promote his film Chitta/Tangled Members of pro-Kannada organizations interrupted him before he could start speaking at the media conference. They demanded to stop the program.

Siddharth continued to speak despite the continued agitation. The situation became more tense as the protesters demanded Siddhartha to support their Cauvery movement. With this, Siddharth joined his hands and thanked the fans and left the show. Responding to this incident, Prakash Raj apologized to Siddharth through X.

Prakash Raj said that the Cauvery problem between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu has been going on for decades, and the incompetent political parties and leaders who could not solve the problem were not questioned during these years, and the helpless common people and artists were tortured without questioning the lame MPs who could not bring pressure to the center to solve the problem.

Prakash Raj wrote on X: Instead of questioning all the political parties and its leaders for failing to solve this decades old issue.. instead of questioning the useless parliamentarians who are not pressurising the centre to intervene.. Troubling the common man and Artists like this can not be accepted, as a Kannadiga, on behalf of Kannadigas. sorry #Siddharth #justasking
