On Tuesday, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao (Telangana Chief Minister KCR) at his official residence Pragati Bhavan and discussed the political situation in the country.
Telangana Chief Minister KCR warmly welcomed the Punjab CM with a bouquet of flowers and took him to his home. Both the Chief Ministers discussed the progress of Telangana, the political situation in the country including the governance of the state of Punjab.
Bhagwant Mann is in Hyderabad to hold talks with industrialists from Telangana regarding ‘Invest Punjab’. Mann congratulated KCR for the formation of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party at the national level. After these discussions, KCR bid adieu Chief Minister of Punjab by offering a shawl and presenting a memento.
On the otherside, KCR’ party BRS is gearing up to set up its Kisan cell in six states, including Andhra Pradesh, after Christmas in order to reach out to the farmers of India.
As the party outlined its upcoming activities it also slammed Bharatiya Janata Party for calling the BRS a flop show pointing out that border villages of BJP-ruled Karnataka and Maharashtra want merger with Telangana due to the success of their welfare program and the policies.
