Recently AP BJP president Daggubati Purandeshwari also responded on Twitter platform on the appointment of TTD governing body members. Purandeshwari criticized that AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has once again proved that the TTD board is a center for political rehabilitation.
Sarath Chandra Reddy, who was involved in the liquor scam in Delhi, objected to the nomination of people like Ketan Desai, who was found guilty of corruption and dismissed from the MCI by the Delhi High Court, to the TTD board. AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy criticized the TTD board for not believing in the sanctity of the Tirumala temple. He made it clear that the BJP will condemn appointments that tarnish the sacredness of TTD.
Meanwhile, Purandeshwari was reacting to the appointment of Bhumana Karunakar Reddy as TTD Chairman a few weeks ago. She said that the post of chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is not a post of political rehabilitation. She said that only those who believe in Hindu Dharma can do justice to the post of TTD Board Chairman. She demanded to appoint those who believe in and follow Hindu Dharma for the post of TTD Chairman.
