Another controversy broke out in the AP BJP. This was caused by some comments made by party MP GVL. This has become a topic of discussion in the political circle. The former Union minister, Daggubati Purandeswari, objected to her party’s Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao’s remarks on former CMs, YSR and NTR.

Along with Kanna’s resignation, MP GVL spoke to the media recently. At the same time, many comments were made on YSR and NTR. He said NTR and YSR are naming all the schemes. Are those two names for all schemes? No one yet? He said that the politics in the state is not just about two parties and two families. Is YSR the name of everything? He asked. He asked why the name of Mohana Ranga Rao of Vangaveeti was not named when the new districts were formed. Why are the leaders not talking about this matter? Ranga also said that he did not fight for just one group, he fought for all groups. Central government recently commemorated `5 coin after Nandamuri Tarka Rama Rao, but nothing was done for Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga, who dedicated his life to the underprivileged class.

Purandaswari responded to GVL Narasimha Rao’s comments aimed at NTR and YSR. Taking to Twitter, Purandeswari replied to the comments of the party’s Rajya Sabha member. Purandaswari claimed that it was only during the terms of Telugu Desam founder NTR and YS Rajasekhar Reddy that welfare schemes were implemented on a large scale for the poor.

She added that one great leader Nandmuri Taraka Rama Rao brings recognition to Telugu race and provides real welfare to poor like 2kg rice, pucca houses, Janata clothes, the women’s university etc to the disadvantaged sections of the people. YSR implemented the fee reimbursement, 108 free ambulance services under Aarogyasri scheme.”
