“Why do all thieves have Modi’s family name?” Rahul Gandhi’ comments  during  the 2019 election campaigns were controversial. A court in Gujarat announced a sensational verdict on this case in March this year. Rahul Gandhi was convicted and sentenced to 2 years in prison. According to the constitution, If a person is imprisoned for 2 or more years, that person loses his MP membership. The Speaker of the Lok Sabha has to sign the related documents. In the case of Rahul Gandhi,  all the talk has happened. After that, Rahul Gandhi went around the courts of Gujarat against the verdict but to no avail. From there he went to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court ruled in his favor.
