He does not want to contest from this seat, thinking that if he contests here, there is a threat of losing to the AIMIM candidate. He is interested in contesting from the Aurangabad seat in Maharashtra. AIMIM MP Syed Imtiaz Jalil is currently the MP of Aurangabad Lok Sabha.
