Raja Singh keen on Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat


Bharatiya Janata Party is likely to field Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh from Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency in the upcoming general elections to challenge AIMIM. Union home minister Amit Shah wants to win Hyderabad seat by fielding Raja Singh. And sources said that Raja Singh would be a better option.

In the recently concluded Telangana assembly polls, Raja Singh won assembly seat from Goshamahal constituency for third consecutive time.

Raja Singh interacted with the media and revealed, “If BJP directs me to do so, I am willing to contest from the Secunderabad constituency.”

 It is known that Raja Singh was suspended from Bharatiya Janata Party in 2022 due to his derogatory statements about Prophet Mohammed.

 He  started his political journey in 2009 by joining TDP and served as the Mangalhat representative to the GHMC until 2014. Later, Raja Singh joined the BJP and won the MLA seat from Goshamahal constituency in the 2014 assembly pol
