Now, the top BJP leaders, who wanted him to join forces with the party, are tendering a new position to him. According to the buzz that is doing rounds on social media, Rajinikanth is likely to occupy the prestigious position of Governor. Also, the Superstar is off to Delhi to meet the BJP leaders.
Later, he met the Tamilnadu Governor, RN Ravi and discussed politics with him but not talked about the BJP leaders’ proposal to him. Political insiders thought that the Rajini’s presence at the NITI Aayog meetings is also one of the reasons behind making the Superstar as the Governor, as a bunch of vacancies available for Governor posts at present.
Anyhow, the news will be officially announced if it turns out to be true. On the movie front, Rajinikanth will next be seen in his 169th project Jailer, being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. It is bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
