Bollywood has been facing sharp criticism following the arrest Ms Rhea Chakraborty by the NCB- Narcotics Control Bureau, which is probing into the drug angle following MS Dhoni fame Sushant Singh Rajput’ death. Recently it was heard that Rhea Chakraborty also named Rakul Preet Singh in the drug case.
Later Rakul Preet Singh approached Delhi High court and filed a petition to stop media reports linking her with the Rhea Chakraborty drug case. Manmadhudu 2 fame actress had claimed media reports were connecting her to the case despite Ms Rhea Chakraborty retracting from the statement in which she had allegedly named her.
De De Pyaar De girl Rakul Preet Singh said, “I was shocked to watch news relating to me, along with actress Sara Ali Khan and designer Simone Khambatta, being named as individuals who take drugs by Rhea Chakraborty in the ongoing investigation by the NCB in Mumbai. I am a fitness freak and I never smoked unless it is a film shoot.” Dhruva Girl added that she follows a clean diet and is teetotaller.
On the work Front, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen playing a crucial role in Shankar’ directorial venture Indian 2 which has Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.
