Akkineni Nageswara Rao, who gave many services to the Telugu film industry and remained in films till his last breath, will celebrate his centenary this year as his 100th birth anniversary will be celebrated next year. Today morning under the auspices of Akkineni family, ANR statue was installed at Annapurna Studios.
All members of Akkineni’s family attended the event. Also Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Manchu Vishnu, Jagapathi Babu, Nassar, Brahmanandam and many celebrities were present. Many political figures were also present. Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu was the chief guest and unveiled the statue of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. A standing statue of Akkineni was unveiled at the Annapurna studio premises.
After the unveiling of the statue, all the celebrities who came to the event spoke about their relationship with Akkineni. However, Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan stood as a special attraction in this program. Mahesh Babu came with his wife Namrata Shirodkar. Ram Charan came alone. But both Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu sat together and talked with laughter. These photos have become viral. Mahesh-Charan fans are happy to see both of them like this.
