Mega Star Chiranjeevi and his family members celebrated Shrawana Shukravaram and performed Varalakshmi Vratam. Upasana Kamineni Konidela, the daughter in law of Chiranjeevi and wife of Mega Power Star Ram Charan took to her instagram to share a pic of her family where the family women are seen performing Varalakshmi Vratam.
The photograph also features Anjana Devi, Upasana and Sreeja’s daughter. Upasana came up with an interesting action, “Four Generations performing Varalakshmi Vratham together. Blessed.”
Varalakshmi Vratam is a festival observed by married women for their husbands and family. There is a dedicated procedure observed by the ladies who follow this Pooja. The word Vara in Varalakshmi means boons, which the goddess gives to her devotees who worship her on this day. This festival Varalakshmi Vratam is completed with traditional Pooja Vidhanam popularly in the regions of Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh. This pooja -Varalakshmi Vratam takes place every second Friday of Sravana Masam.
On the work front, Chiranjeevi is currently busy in the shoot of upcoming film Acharya which has Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady. He is also playing the lead role in Lucifer and Vedhalam remake. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Khaidi No 150 fame actor Chiranjeevi is going to celebrate his birthday tomorrow.
