Ram Gopal Varma and controversies go hand in hand. Recently, he was embroiled in a controversy for instigating Telugu actress Sri Reddy to go ahead and abuse Jana Sena President and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan. The latter is furious over their remarks and has been on a rampage on his Twitter account.
RGV has landed himself in trouble by poking his nose in Sri Reddy’s fight against casting couch. His upcoming movie Officer starring Akkineni Nagarjuna is gearing up for grand release very soon. It is heard that Nagarjuna is very upset with Si Reddy and RGV’s controversy.
Recently during the media interaction, RGV opened up about Officer and Pawan’s issue. When he was asked , “Do you think Pawan’s fans will attempt to affect Officer’s collections?
The film maker replied, “If they can’t increase Agnyaathavaasi collections, how will they affect other films’ collections.”
RGV further said, “Pawan Kalyan’s fans are what I call ‘YouTube Alexanders’ . Beyond giving abuses and physical threats on camera, they are nothing more than jokers…I am not talking about all of them…only those who behave like goons.”
On the otherside, RGV is planning to start the shoot of Akkineni Akhil’s next film after the release of Officer.
