The idol of Ram was sculpted by Arun Yogiraj, a sculptor from Mysore, Karnataka.

Modi participated in the Pran Pratisthta on Monday and  also performed an aarti inside sanctum sanctorum during the consecration ceremony.

A specially prepared prasadam box will be given to the invitees participating in the inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandira. It consists of laddoos, lampshade and seven other items. A famous sweet shop in Lucknow ‘Chappan Bhog’ is preparing these boxes. Ram Mandir Trust has ordered a total of 15 thousand boxes. Overwhelmed by the opportunity to make prasadam boxes, the organizers of ‘Chappan Bhog’ offered to make them for free.
