Prime Minister Modi performed the special pooja ceremonies at the Ayodhya Mandir. The first visuals of the idol of Ram Lalla, that depicts Lord Ram as a five year old child, adorned in gold jewellery were revealed after the consecration ceremony at the new Ram Temple in Ayodhya today.
The 51-inch idol of Lord Ram, carved from black stone, was dressed in a yellow dhoti with a golden crown, necklaces, holding a golden bow and arrow. The smile on Ram lalla’s face in the idol is captivating and is becoming a viral talk.
This idol was designed keeping in mind the description of Lord Ram\ in Ramayana.
The idol of Ram was sculpted by Arun Yogiraj, a sculptor from Mysore, Karnataka.
Modi participated in the Pran Pratisthta on Monday and also performed an aarti inside sanctum sanctorum during the consecration ceremony.
A specially prepared prasadam box will be given to the invitees participating in the inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandira. It consists of laddoos, lampshade and seven other items. A famous sweet shop in Lucknow ‘Chappan Bhog’ is preparing these boxes. Ram Mandir Trust has ordered a total of 15 thousand boxes. Overwhelmed by the opportunity to make prasadam boxes, the organizers of ‘Chappan Bhog’ offered to make them for free.
