 Plus Points:

·         Performance

·         Ravi Teja

·         Pre climax

·         Interval block

 Minus Points:

·         Screenplay

·         Narration

·         First half dull

·         Unexciting twists

Performance: Ravi Teja  who is playing the role of  MRO officer for the first time, looks good on the screen and he  justifies with his character. Divyansha Kaushik and Rajisha Vijayan look good. Rajisha plays Ravi Teja’s ex-girlfriend, and Divyansha Kaushik, who plays his wife, do wonderful job in their roles. Venu Thottempudi makes his comeback with this film and he  is the ideal choice for SI Jammi Murali. Although the movie follows a serious plotline, Venu Thottempudi injects humour into a few scenes. Rahul Ramakrishna is ok. Rest of the cast perform accordingly.

Technical:  The story of Ramarao on Duty is interesting and the  special mention should go to the action sequences which have been composed well. Coming on the work of Saratha Mandava, he picks an interesting subject involving thriller elements. The pre-climax and pre-interval twists are expertly positioned. The train action episode before the intermission is crafted well.   The background score is very impressive. The dialogues are noteworthy.  The Cinematography is decent and the editing is ok. The production values are good

Analysis: Overall Ramarao on Duty is a serious drama that has absolutely no entertainment. Plus points of the film are Ravi Teja’ characterization and action episodes.
