Ram Charan starrer village based drama Rangasthalam, directed by Sukumar, which was released on 30th March in a very grand manner, is on a spree of breaking the records at the box office. The collection of this film is unstoppable. Rangasthalam marks the first time collaboration of the director and Ram Charan. According to the latest update, Rangasthalam which is already in the all time top three grosser in Telugu Film Industry, has joined Rs 200 Cr gross club. Rangasthalam is the 47th Indian film, 7th South Indian film and the 3rd Telugu film to gross over Rs 200 Cr worldwide.
Samantha Akkineni plays the female lead. Apart from the lead pair, the film has other stars like Jagapathi Babu, Aadhi Pinisetty, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Prakash Raj and others in supporting roles. Rangsthalam is bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers and has the music by Devi Sri Prasad.
Rangasthalam is all about the story of Chitti Babu (Ram Charan) who views the world from a different perspective until he decides to fight for the villagers and stand against the village President.
