Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni’s village based drama Rangasthalam is off to a flying start at the box-office, especially in the US. According to trade sources, the movie has already crossed $1.5 Million at USA box office and is still counting in the US.
Yesterday the Industry tracker Jeevi took to twitter to share the collection figure of Rangasthalam. He tweeted, “#Rangasthalam USA hourly gross at 1 pm PST on Saturday is $364,342 from 150 locations with per location average of $2,429. Already crosses $1.5M and looking forward to $2M today or tomorrow !”
Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film has the music by Devi Sri Prasad. It’s a village drama set in the 1980s in a fictional town of Rangasthalam abutting the River Godavari. Apart from the lead pair, the film has other stars like Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Aadhi Pinisetty and Anasuya Bharadwaj in supporting role.
