Kata Amrapali, who joined the Telangana service from the central services, has been assigned a key post by the Telangana government. IAS Amrapali has been assigned as HMDA Commissioner and MD of Musi River Development Corporation by Revanth Reddy.
The state government has decided to use the services of Amrapali, an IAS officer who enjoyed public support during the young officer, Anati period. That is why she was brought to Telangana from central services. Recently, she was entrusted with key responsibilities. Telangana cadre IAS officer Amrapali has been given additional charge as Joint Commissioner of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and MD of Musi River Development Corporation. Chief Secretary Shanthakumari has issued orders. These orders will come into effect immediately.
Smita Sabharwal also gained special popularity in Karimnagar and Medak districts during Anati period. Seeing her talent, KCR appointed her as CM’s secretary. Along with this, she also served as the Chief Secretary of Telangana Irrigation Department. She personally supervised the works of Kaleswaram and Mission Bhagiratha schemes many times. It is often heard that she is the only IAS officer who travels in a helicopter.
Smita Sabharwal, who played a key role in the KCR government, was not seen much after the formation of the new government. Smita Sabharwal did not meet CM Revanth Reddy. With this, there were rumors that she was going to the central services on deputation.
