It is known that megastar Chiranjeevi was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, the nation’s second-highest civilian award a few days ago. Megastar also released a video message thanking fans and well wishers for their love and support as he had been conferred with Padma Vibhushan. Padma Awards 2024 were announced one day before the Republic Day. Mega daughter in law Upasana Konidela arranged a grand function to celebrate Chiru’s biggest achievement. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkatreddy attended it and congratulated Megastar Chiranjeevi on his achievement (Padma Vibhushan).

Chiranjeevi is one of the most successful actors who have acted in more than 160 films (including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada). In 2006, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy star was awarded the Padma Bhushan, making this his 2nd Padma Award.
On the work front, Chiranjeevi who was last seen in Bholaa Shankar, has joined the sets of his next Vishwambhara, directed by Vasishta of Bimbisara fame. The reports are coming that Trisha Krishnan will essay the leading lady.
