Revanth Reddy will be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Telangana today after Congress registered its maiden victory in the state, ousting the KCR led BRS government with a complete majority. Revanth Reddy will take the oath in presence of party’s top leadership – Mallikarjun Kharge,  Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi,  and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will be among those who will attend the event.

Revanth Reddy  recently went to New Delhi as an ordinary MLA and returned with the post of Chief Minister. With this, the officials have prepared a convoy of special vehicles for the future Chief Minister who reached Hyderabad from Delhi. But Revanth, who does not want to use government vehicles without taking responsibility, politely refused. This interesting incident took place at Begumpet Airport on Wednesday night.

Revanth Reddy, who won the Congress party in the Telangana assembly elections, was entrusted with the post of chief minister. 

As the Chief Minister’s post was confirmed, the authorities made arrangements for Revanth’s oath-taking. Also, officials have prepared a convoy for Revanth, who was coming from Delhi on Wednesday night. Revanth was welcomed by CS Shantikumari and DGP Ravigupta when he reached Begumpet in a special flight. Later, the officials asked the future CM to board the convoy prepared at the airport. But he refused the government convoy and left in their own vehicle. But for security reasons his vehicle was followed by police vehicles. Revanth directly reached Gachibowli Ella Hotel where the Congress MLAs were staying from the airport. Police and CM’s security officials followed his car till there.
