Andhra Pradesh’s ruling party YSRCP authorised the erection of an opulent building at the Rushikonda area in Vizag. According to multiple reports given by the media and the allegations of rival parties, the building will be the camp office of the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. But at some circumstances, the government noted this building as the tourism department project of the state.
As per the recent reports, the building is being initiated by the AP Tourism minister Roja. The initiation ceremony is a simple formality which doesn’t have an abundance of government officials. In order to regulate adverse disturbances, an enormous police force has been employed around the area.
Earlier, the court had passed orders to elucidate the use of the building in Rushikonda, but YSRCP did not obey it till now. And it is now, being initiated by Roja.
The ruling government granted Rs 198 crores for the Rushikonda building but towards the end, over Rs 450 crores were spent on the erection of the building apparently.
