RRR Japan Box office collections: Rajamouli’ magnum opusRRR has recorded highest first week collections for an Indian film in Japan.  RRR trio Ram Charan, Jr NTR and SS Rajamouli recently promoted the film in Japan.   The film which is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment was released on  October 21. It collected JPY73 million ($495,000) in its first week. RRR released on 209 screens and 31 Imax screens across 44 cities and prefectures in Japan, the widest for an Indian film in the country. Rajamouli’ RRR was the only foreign film at the Japanese box office, ahead of films such as Spencer, The Bad Guys and Jurassic World Dominion. The report further added that RRR registered the biggest opening ever for an Indian film in Japan.

The sources revealed that RRR has collected 740K Yen in 10 days. One yen is equal to 0.56 rupees in Indian currency. It means that the movie has collected more than 6 crores in Indian currency. These number are not too amazing.

Rainikanth starrer Muthu has collected 400 million yen, Baahubali earned 365 million yen and Three Idiots collected 149 million yen. It seems it is very difficult for RRR to collect in that range.
