RRR Japan Box office collections: SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR, which is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment was released on October 21 amid a great buzz. The film has the music by MM Keeravaani. The big budget drama starring mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR in the lead role. The movie RRR has recorded highest first week collections for an Indian film in Japan. The film which also has Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran and Ajay Devgn in the important roles, has completed the run of 3 weeks. We have already reported that the movie earned 185 million yen in 17 days. Now according to the latest report, RRR has grossed 210 million yen after the successful run of 3 weeks.
Rajamouli’ magnum opus is showing excellent hold even on working days. The film gross collections is in the range of Rs 12.18 crores, in Indian currency.
RRR was released on 209 screens and 31 Imax screens across 44 cities and prefectures in Japan, the widest for an Indian film in the country. Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR was the only foreign film at Japanese box office, ahead of the movies Spencer, The Bad Guys and Jurassic World Dominion.
