Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas starrer Saakini Daakini is the official remake of South Korean action-comedy film Midnight Runners. It marks the second association of Suresh Productions, Guru Films and Kross Pictures, which is gearing up for the grand release very soon. The women centric film is being funded by Suresh Babu, Sunitha Tati and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, and is directed by Sudheer Varma. Today morning the makers of Saakini Daakini unveiled the teaser which is grabbing the attention of many.
The teaser of Saakini Daakini revealed the character of Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas as the trainees at the Police Academy. Nivetha Thomas is a foodie whereas Regina Cassandra has OCD problems. They underperform in the police training camp. The movie is all about the funny struggles of them who are the only two females in the training camp. Bhanuchander and 30 years Prudhvi are also the part of Saakini Daakini and they are playing the police officers.
The teaser gives a hint that the upcoming drama will have fun, action, good story, drama etc. Both the actresses looked like daredevils in certain sequences.
