YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) General Secretary and Government Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy made key comments on YS Sharmila’ joining the Congress party and her party merger. He said that Chandrababu is trying to get power by managing Pawan Kalyan and Congress party and the party merger. Speaking to the media at the CM’s camp office on Saturday, he expressed suspicion that former CM and TDP leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu had a hand in the merger of YSRTP with Congress.
Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that Chandrababu is trying to get power by managing Pawan Kalyan and Congress. He said that there is no loss to YCP due to Sharmila. Congress has no future in AP and there is no need to worry about them. He complained that the Congress party got less votes than Nota, they did not get a single seat in the last two elections and the people of AP do not recognize the Congress party.
He opined that Chandrababu Nadu has realized that he will not win the next assembly elections in the state and is trying to divert him towards Sharmila.
Chandrababu Naidu knows that he will get minus marks in welfare matters. He was always playing political games through someone else. He said that Congress has no future in Andhra Pradesh and his party does not consider Congress as a rival in Andhra Pradesh. Sharmila’s inclusion in the Congress is also a part of Chandrababu’s conspiracies, and Chandrababu’s strategy is to gain power through side-track politics.
