Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most popular and highest paid Telugu and Tamil film actresses. She made her acting debut with Telugu romance film, Ye Maaya Chesave, which fetched her the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Actress and a Nandi Award. She has appeared in Telugu and Tamil films such as Dookudu, Rangathalam, U Turn, Oh Baby, Majili, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Attarintiki Daredi, Jaanu and recently she made her debut on OTT platform with the web drama The Family Man 2.
She also has her own NGO, Pratyusha Support, to provide medical support for women and children. It is known that She donates her earnings from endorsements, product launches and inauguration events to support the foundation. On 2nd October, Samantha announced her separation from husband Naga Chaitanya and since then, she has talked about reinventing herself with striking posts.
In a recent Instagram post, Rangasthalam and Oh Baby fame Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared, “The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of us but those who win battles we know nothing about.” The actress also added a note that read “#MyMommaSaid” in the end.
On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is waiting for the release of director Gunasekhar’s directorial venture Shaakuntalam and she is also playing the female lead in Vignesh Shivan’s Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
