Samantha Akkineni and Sharwanand are busy in the promotional activities of their upcoming romantic drama Jaanu, which is gearing up for grand release on 7th of this month. As a part of promotional activities, both Samantha and Sharwanand visited Vizag at a local college. Just before the event started heavy rain started pouring down but the students did not leave the event and waited patiently for the lead pair of Jaanu. Later Samantha and Sharwanand promoted the film Jaanu amidst huge crowds. These pics is a small indication of increasing mania of Samantha.
The story of upcoming romantic film Jaanu revolves around a travel photographer, who visits his high school and is overcome by memories. With a WhatsApp group, he reunites with his school friends. At this reunion, his multiple friends catch up with him.
Govind Vasantha, who had scored music for Tamil movie 96, is the music composer of Jaanu , which is helmed by Prem Kumar and bankrolled by Dil Raju on his Sri Venkateswara Creations. His compositions for the Tamil original captured the imagination of the the movie lovers.
Shot in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Maldives and Kenya, Jaanu is Samantha Akkineni’ first collaboration with Sharwanand.
In 2019, Samantha Akkineni was seen in romantic drama Majili alongside her husband Naga Chaitanya, and she was last seen in woman centric movie Oh baby, the directorial venture of Nandini Reddy.
