Samantha Ruth Prabhu‘s upcoming film Shaakuntalam is all set to hit the theaters on 14th April. There was a lot of buzz on social media about this film. However, just before the release of the film, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu fell ill. The actress told that she fell ill due to the hectic schedule and she has got fever. Also, no sound was coming out of her throat.
Recently Samantha Ruth Prabhu updated fans through social media that the hectic schedule has taken a toll on her health and she is down with fever. Samantha tweeted: Unfortunately the hectic schedules and promotions have taken its toll, and I am down with a fever and have lost my voice.
Rangasthalam lady also urged her fans to attend the promotional event at MLRIT college’s annual day, which the actress could not attend due to was earlier going to attend but won’t be able to now.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been traveling across Mumbai, Kerala, Chennai and other cities as a part of the promotional activities of her upcoming film Shaakuntalam which is helmed by Gunasekhar. Samantha is playing the titular role in this drama which has Malayalam star Dev Mohan in the role of King Dushyant. Arha, the daughter of Stylish star Allu Arjun and Sneha is playing Prince Bharata in this upcoming film.
It is known that in the month of October 2022, Samantha revealed about her battle with myositis.
