The sources added that Naga Shaurya is very excited about Sukumar’s upcoming project. For the last two scripts, the actor gave the directors a free hand without interfering in anything. However, those two films didn’t do well at the box office, but this time he is clearing everything before the film going to the floors.
This year Naga Shaurya has delivered three movies Kanam/Diya, Ammammagarillu and Nartanasala. In Kanam/Diya, the actor shared the screen space with Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi and later he came up with family entertainer drama Ammammagarillu, directed by Sundar Surya. The young actor was last seen in Nartanasala, helmed by Srinivas Chakravarthi and produced by Usha Mulpuri on Ira Creations banner. Two actresses Kashmira Pardeshi and Yamini Bhaskar played the female lead role. But unfortunately the movie was bombed at the box office.
Currently Naga Shaurya is busy in his upcoming movie, the remake of Korean movie Miss Granny, in which Samantha Akkineni is playing the female lead. It is a woman centric movie.
On the otherside, Sukumar’s previous offering Rangasthalam starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni was blockbuster at the box office. It was a village based drama, which broke several preexisting records at the box office. Apart from producing Naga Shaurya’s film Sukmar is also committed to direct a movie for Superstar Mahesh Babu, which will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
