Kondraal Paavam, is an upcoming Tamil film which has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Santhosh Pratap in the lead roles. The upcoming drama is helmed by Dayal Padmanabhan, and it marked his Tamil directorial debut. Kondraal Paavam is a crime thriller, which is set in the year 1981. Samantha Ruth Prabhu has come in the support of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Santhosh Pratap as she is going to unveil the teaser of Kondraal Paavam at 7:03 PM on 23rd Feb.

The upcoming film is based on a famous Kannada play Aa Karaala Ratri, written by Mohan Habbu. Earlier during an interview, the director Dayal Padmanabhan who has previously directed films in Kannada, said that he had already adapted the play as Aa Karaala Ratri in Kannada, in 2018. It had fetched several state awards and he remade the film in Telugu as Anaganaga O Athidhi. And now he is making the film as Kondraal Paavam in Tamil.
