Sardar movie Box office collections: After stunning everyone with his performance in Mani Ratnam’ magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan, Karthi came up with action drama Sardar, which released on 21st October. The film is an action-oriented project that fans have been eagerly awaiting. Sardar is a spy-thriller, written and directed by PS Mithran.
Karthi Sardar got bit better start compare to other movies, as it earned Rs 40L share in Nizam, 10L Share in Ceeded, Rs 45L+ in Andhra total of Rs 95L Range share on Day 1 in Telugu States, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana .
The report also revealed that the movie had an overall 27.51% occupancy in the theaters with the maximum being in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
The industry tracker Ramesh Bala tweeted: added, “#Sardar has picked up from evening shows both here in India and Overseas .”
The reports are also coming that Sardar collected Rs 3.7 crore on its release day at the worldwide box office.
PS Mithran directorial venture Sardar also clashed with Sivakarthikeyan starrer romantic drama Prince, at the box office. The latter, directed by Anudeep KV of Jathi Ratnalu fame, follows the hilarious drama that unravels when the actor Sivakarthikeyan’s character of a teacher falls in love with a British teacher.
