Keerthy Suresh who has won millions of heart for her role in Nag Ashwin’s directorial venture Mahanati, where she essayed South Indian legendary actress Savitri, has joined the list of the actors in donating their eyes.

According to the latest update, Keerthy Suresh pledged to donate her eyes, which she announced after inaugurating ‘free eye surgeries camp for underprivileged’ at Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital in the city. On this occasion, the talented actress Keerthy Suresh said, “I came to know that a single person can donate the eyes to 2 visually impaired people at the same time and this latest technology is developed by Dr Agarwal. I believe that this facility would be a boon to the people here.” She added that she would spread this news by her social media sites and would urge her fans to donate their eyes and help someone get their vision back.

Keerthy Suresh further said, “Donating eyes is a noble cause. I am  very happy to donate my eyes and I will pledge at this hospital at a later date.”

 Earlier, in the month of February this year,  Amal Paul has also signed the eye donation form at Dr Agarwal’s Group of Eye Hospitals.

Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Suriya, Trisha Krishnan, Vishal, Madhavan, Samantha Akkineni, Sarath Kumar, Vijay Sethupathi, Kajal Aggarwal, Saritha, Prasanna are some of the popular names who have already pledged to either donate their eyes or organs. Keerthy Suresh is the latest actor from South Indian Film Industry to have pledged to donate eyes.

 On the work side, Keerthy Suresh is currently enjoying the success of her recent offering, the political drama Sarkar, in which she shared the screen space with Vijay. The movie, directed by Spyder fame AR Murugadoss, is running successfully at the box office. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Keerthy Suresh is waiting for a call from SS Rajamouli for his multistarrer RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR.
