The world has been going through its worst health crisis in decades, with the coronavirus pandemic showing no signs of slowing down. According to a recent report, a private hospital in Uttar Pradesh is issuing Covid-19 negative certificates to positive patients and for this the hospital is charging Rs 2500 from one patient. This scandal is caught on camera and sent shock waves in the state.

In Uttar Pradesh’ Meerut, hospital staff was caught on camera selling a fake Covid-19/ Coronavirus negative certificate for Rs 2500. In a video that has surfaced allegedly from a Meerut hospital, staff are seen promising to procure fake Covid-19 -ive tests for clients, in exchange for money. This video clip is going viral on the social media and is giving shock to everyone.

An investigation was ordered into the incident and a case was filed against the owner of the hospital.

According to the latest report, the license of Meerat hospital has also been suspended by the district magistrate. The district magistrate said, “We have suspended the license of the nursing home and we have sealed it also. Strict action will be taken against anybody who will do something like this in this time of covid-19 crisis.” No arrests have been made in the case yet.
