Schools will open in Andhra Pradesh from Monday. In view of the intense heat of the sun, the government has ordered that the Ottiputa should be held till the 17th of this month. It is suggested that the classes should be held from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
Similarly, officials said that arrangements are being made to provide Ragi Java in the morning to students in government schools. However, parents appealed to the government to postpone the resumption of schools in view of the intense heat. It is reported that the government has ordered to run schools together.
Even after the second week of June, the intensity of the sun is not decreasing in the state. High temperatures are being recorded across the state. Parents are worried that students are at risk of getting sick while going to school due to the intense sun. They appeal to the government to reconsider the extension of holidays in view of children’s health.
The reports are coming that Ragi Java will be distributed between 8.30 am and 9 am followed by Jagananna Gorumudda will from 11.30 am to 12 pm. The Commissioner of School Education Department Suresh Kumar has issued orders to this effect.
