Shiv Sena has decided to contest in the Telangana assembly constituency, the party’s Telangana unit president Sinkaru Shivaji has revealed. They explained that they have focused on Telangana constituencies on the borders of Maharashtra.
It is known that regional parties have focused on expansion. At a time when Telangana’s ruling party BRS has accelerated its expansion in Maharashtra, it is noteworthy that Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena party from Maharashtra has decided to contest the Telangana assembly elections. Telangana Shiv Sena State President Sinkaru Shivaji revealed that Shiv Sena will contest in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections and as part of this, the party is preparing plans to field strong candidates.
In this regard, Sinkar Shivaji and Shiv Sena state general secretary Kuraleti Gopi Kishan held a meeting with party central secretary Abhijit Adsul two days ago in Mumbai. He said that in this meeting there was a discussion on the important issues related to contesting the Telangana Assembly elections.
Shivaji said that the Shiv Sena has mainly focused on the constituencies of the Telangana regions which are geographically bordered by Maharashtra. They explained that they were ordered by the party high command. Shivaji challenged that MIM and BRS are secret allies in the state and Shiv Sena will show their strength to these parties. Shivaji explained that Shiv Sena chief and Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde will participate and speak in the public meeting organized in Hyderabad.
