Another key leader gave a shock to BRS. MLC Kasireddy Narayana Reddy resigned from the party, disappointed with the expectation of ticket.  He met TPCC President Revanth Reddy on Sunday.

Telangana politics is changing fast as elections are approaching.  Many leaders have already left the party, two more leaders have recently resigned. It includes MLC Kasireddy Narayana Reddy from Palamuru district and Balaji Singh, Vice Chairman of Kalwakurthy  ZP. They met TPCC President Revanth Reddy on Sunday. Both of them announced that they will join the Congress.

MLC Kasireddy Narayana Reddy had been preparing to contest from the Kalwakurthyassembly seat for some time now. He met with the followers two or three times. KCR announced the BRS tickets last month. However, Kasireddy Narayana Reddy decided to join the Congress party as he did not get the Kalvakurthi ticket. He held a meeting with his key supporters last week. He met TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy today. Kasireddy Narayana Reddy resigned from BRS after meeting Revanth Reddy. Kasireddy Narayana Reddy sent his resignation letter to CM KCR. His followers say that there is a possibility that Kasireddy Narayana Reddy will contest as Congress candidate from Kalwakurthy Assembly seat. It is known that Kasireddy Narayana Reddy was in Congress before joining BRS.

He had previously contested as an independent candidate from the Kalwakurthy assembly seat and secured significant votes. In the 2018 elections, he also tried to contest as a BRS candidate from  Kalwakurthy.
