The Telangana High Court on Thursday canceled the bail of A1 accused Erra Gangireddy in the murder case of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy. The Telangana High Court ordered Erra Gangireddy to surrender before the CBI court before May 5 this year. The Telangana High Court has instructed the CBI to arrest Gangireddy if he does not surrender.
The CBI has approached the court to cancel the bail of Erra Gangireddy, who is accused A1 in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case. YS Sunitha Reddy was also impleaded on this petition. Arguments were also held in the Telangana High Court on 26 and 27 of this month. The Telangana High Court heard all the arguments. The High Court said that the judgment would be announced today. After eleven hours today, Erragangireddy announced the verdict on the bail cancellation petition. Telangana High Court canceled Gangireddy’s bail.
CBI alleges that A1 accused Gangireddy is a key player in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case. The CBI suspects that if Gangireddy is out on bail, there is a possibility of affecting the investigation. The lawyers on behalf of the CBI have argued the same. The High Court agreed with the arguments of the CBI. Gangireddy’s bail was revoked and the verdict announced today.
