The gruesome death of 27-year-old Shraddha Walkar, a resident of Vasai in Maharashtra, allegedly by her live-in partner Aaftab Poonawala in Delhi, has put the spotlight on women’s safety once again. Delhi Police, which is probing the horrific Shraddha Walker murder case, took DNA samples of Shraddha`s father Vikas Walker so that the dumped body parts and blood sample can be matched. The sources revealed that about 10-13 bones have been recovered from the forest and they have been sent to the forensic lab to find out whether the bones belonged to Shraddha or those of an animal. The film maker Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV is furiously disheartened by the brutal murder of Shraddha Walkar.
RGV took to his twitter and wrote: Instead of resting in PEACE she should come back as a spirit and cut him into 70 PIECES.” He again tweeted: Brutal murders can’t be prevented just by fear of law ..But they can be definitely stopped if the victims spirits come back from the dead and kill their killers ..I request God to consider this and do the needful.
On the other side, Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut has demanded that Aaftab Amin Poonawalla – the killer of Shraddha Walkar should be hanged publicly to send the strong message to those who commit such horrendous crimes against the women.
