It was released on 24th December and is having a terrific run at the box office. Now according to the latest report, Shyam Singha Roy has crossed half million marks at the USA box office. Now Nani and Sai Pallavi starrer Shyam Singha Roy is a half million dollar baby in USA.
Going by the collections details looks like the target audiences have accepted Nani starrer with open arms.
On the otherside, Shyam Singha Roy is facing stiff competition at the box office with Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandannam,Sunil, Fhadh Faasil starrer rural drama Pushpa : The Rise, and Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer sport based drama 83, helmed by Sukumar and Kabir Khan respectively.
Apart from the lead actors, Shyam Singha Roy also has Murali Sharma, Madonna Sebastian, Jisshu Sengupta, Rahul Ravindran, Abhinav Gomatam, Manish Wadhwa and Leela Samson in the crucial roles.
The movie has the backdrop of Kolkata, and is based on the theme of reincarnation. In this film, Nani is playing the dual role and his performance is highlighted.
