IAS officer Smita Sabharwal visited at Telangana Secretariat on Thursday. Smita Sabharwal met Telangana Minister Seethakkaat the secretariat.
Smita Sabharwal worked as Special Chief Secretary to CMO during KCR’s tenure as Chief Minister. Telangana CMO was the Special Secretary and held the responsibilities of Irrigation Department.
Government has changed in Telangana. Congress government was formed in Telangana. Because of the change of government in Telangana, there was a campaign that Smita Sabharwal will join the central services. There will also be a discussion about Smita Sabharwal not meeting Seethakka Reddy taking charge as a Minister.
However, IAS officer Smita Sabharwal announced on social media that she is not going to join the central services. She announced that she will continue her services in Telangana state. Smita Sabharwal reached the secretariat after making the announcement through the social media platform. Smita Sabharwal met Minister Seethakka at the Secretariat.
Smita Sabharwal is a 2001 batch IAS officer. She first worked in Adilabad district in the united state of Andhra Pradesh. She worked as Assistant Collector of Chittoor District from 14th July 2003 to 27th November 2004. She also worked as Project Director of Rural Development Department from 28th November 2004 to 31st December 2004.
