Sree Vishnu’s Needi Naadi Oke Kadha enters in profit zoneSree Vishnu has been doing movies  at a  limited budget and targeting the youth to connect to them.  The actor received lot of applause for his  performance in Appatlo Okadundevadu. His movie Needi Naadi Oke Kadha, which explores the relationship between a father and son in the most moving way, released in cinemas last week and opened to positive word of mouth. The movie is made on the budget of Rs 2.25 Cr and including the promotions, the budget went up to Rs 2.30 Cr.

According to the latest update,  the movie has collected Rs 1.20 Cr from both Telugu States and Rs 40 Lakh from overseas.    Udugula Venu’s directorial venture  has earned  Rs 1.60 Cr at the worldwide box office and Rs 40 Lakh from Hindi remake rights.  The film got an expansion of 70 theatres now and it could increase further if  Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni’s Rangasthalam doesn’t take up all the theatres. Satellite rights and digital rights are still not sold completely.

The film is jointly produced by Krishna Vijay and Prashanti whereas the music is scored by  Suresh. Nara Rohit played the cameo and Satna Titus played the female lead role.

According to the industry grapevine, producer Kalaipuli S Thanu has acquired the Tamil remake rights of the film and has plans to make it with Dhanush.

Dhanush, the son-in-law of Superstar Rajinikanth, is not new to remakes. Over the years, he has starred Telugu remakes of films such as Arya, Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule and Ready among others.
