Sharmiela Mandre, the actress and producer, is well known for her works predominantly in Kannada cinema, as well as a few Telugu and Tamil movies. She made her debut in Telugu film industry in 2013 with a comedy movie Kevvu Keka directed by Devi Prasad, bankrolled by Boppana Chandrasekhar under the banner of Jahnavi Productions in which she shared the screen space with Allari Naresh.
In the year 2018, she bankrolled a Tamil film Evanukku Engeyo Matcham Irukku and in 2019, she went on to produce two more films in Tamil which are up for release in 2020. She is currently enjoying holidays in Maldives.
