First look poster of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, who is the main antagonist in upcoming much hyped movie Darbar starring Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth, has been released and he looks rugged.
The ultra cool look of Bollywood’s last action hero Suniel Shetty from the much awaited Darbar is out. This time Rajinikanth will see Suniel Shetty in a never seen before avatar of a cool suave villain. Coming on the first look poster of Darbar features Suniel Shetty in salt and pepper hairstyle, tied a bun. He is seen with sunglasses and trimmed beard.
The action-thriller film Darbar starring Rajinikanth, Nayantara and Suneil Shetty, is written and directed by Murugadoss and produced by Allirajah Subaskaran under the banner of Lyca Productions. This is Lyca Productions’ second collaboration on a Rajinikanth film after their success with Shankar’ directorial venture 2.0.
Darbar is set in Mumbai and Rajinikanth will be seen as IPS officer in the film. His last cop role was in the 1992 film Pandiyan. Nayantara is playing the female lead in Darbar. Nayantara and Rajinikanth had earlier shared screen space in Chandramukhi, Sivaji and Kuselan.
Apart from lead pair, Darbar also has Nawab Shah, Sunil Shetty, Nivetha Thomas and Yogi Babu in cruial roles. The film has music by Sensational music composer Anirudh Ravichander. This is his second film with Rajinikanth after Petta, while cinematography and editing are handled by Santhosh Sivan and Sreekar Prasad.
According to the latest buzz, the trailer of ‘Darbar’ will be released tomorrow, on 12th December on the occasion of Rajinikanth’ birthday.
Recently Suniel Shetty made his debut in Kannada industry with cinematographer-turned-director S Krishna’ project Pailwaan, which featured South actor Kichcha Sudeep in a lead role, with Aakanksha Singh as the female lead and Kabir Duhan Singh as one the lead antagonists.
Darbar is slated to be released on 10th January 2020, coinciding with Thai Pongal.
