We have already reported that on 3rd April, Niharika Konidela, the niece of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan and Telugu Bigg Boss Season 2 winner Rahul Sipligunj were detained in the Hyderabad drug raid. Later her father, Naga Babu, shared a video message, in which he said that his daughter is clean.
According to playback singer Rahul Sipligunj, he was partying at The Mink pub in Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Banjara Hills. Those who were detained were let off after the cop took their details. Tamanna Simhadri who gained fame with the controversial reality show addressed the media and spoke in support of Niharika Konidela.
Police bringing Niharika Konidela into the station and taking her out was repeatedly telecasted on the television channels. Tamanna Simhadri said, “This is totally unacceptable. How can somebody project Niharika in a bad light? Is it a crime to go to the pub in late hours to attend the party?”
Tamanna Simhadri asked how everyone could be blamed if one or two people consumed drugs at the party. She further added that only Niharika Konidela is being targeted by showing her in YouTube channels and other digital media platforms as if she had committed a big crime in a pub.
