Senior Tamil actor Poo Ramu passed away in hospital on Monday. Earlier today, he was admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital after he suffered a cardiac arrest. Ramu rose to fame through his performance in films like Peranbu, Karnan, Neerparavai, and Soorarai Pottru. He started his career with Anbe Sivam, and portray many memorable roles in the movies. He was fondly called ‘Poo Ramu’ after his performance in the film Poo.

The reports are coming that Poo Ramu passed away after the treatment failed and other health related reasons.
Director Kumaran, who has helmed the movie Jada in 2019 and the track ‘Parai’ which released earlier this year, took to social media to condole Ramu’s death. “#PooRamu had a soul and added life to every role that he took upon. Heartfelt condolences & thank you for being a part of #Parai ! RIP sir.” Many fans are taking the social media to express their condolences.
