TDP & Janasena finally set the seal on MP seats

Still and all, an official announcement is uncertain, the TDP – Janasena union has apparently brought the conclusion about candidates for 13 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state. Because of the dynamic political landscape, the rest of the positions are still being worked on with two-three seats unresolved backing.

The following are the confirmed candidates.

The 3 sitting MPs who left the ruling YSRCP are Lau Sri Krishna Devarayalu for Narasaraopet, Raghuram Krishnan Raju for Narasapuram and Vallabhaneni Balashauri for Machilipatnam. At present, analysis of candidates for the rest of the seats is under way. Ganti Harish who is the son of former Speaker Balayogi, is all set to take the crown as an MP for Amalapuram, whereas previous MP Kambhampati Rammohan Rao, Sishtla Lohit, Ganni Krishna and Boddu Venkataramana are considered for Rajamahendravarm city.

Kandi Chandrasekhar, Venkatesh and others will be the contenders for the Vizianagaram MP seat. For Guntur, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar is likely to be considered, but because of negative talks on NRIs as MPs, the union is looking to elect Bhashyam Ramakrishna as an alternative. R. Srinivasula Reddy and the son of former MLA Vijayamma (Ritesh Reddy) are in line to take the position of MP in Kadapa.

Due to awaiting changes in the assembly seats, the selection process for Nellore and Ongole is on hold. Furthermore, candidates for Araku MPs are yet to be set.
