The party leaders met the Governor on Monday morning over the arrest of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Gandi Babji, Chiranjeevi Rao, Rama Rao, Rajababu and others went to Visakha Port Guest House under the leadership of senior party leader and state president Achchennaidu. He met Governor Abdul Nazir there. When the TDP leaders tried to meet the governor on Sunday morning, the governor canceled the appointment. As a result, the TDP leaders sought the governor’s appointment again in the evening, but the appointment was given on Monday morning.

After coming out with the Governor, Achchennaidu spoke to the media. The governor said that no prior information was given about Chandrababu’s arrest. It has been stated that the developments in the state are being observed. He accused Chandrababu of making illegal cases against him because he could not bear the growing popularity of TDP in the state. Even a sadist and psycho would not order such a heinous arrest. He said that the YCP leaders have realized that defeat in the next election is inevitable after seeing the people’s support for youth leader Nara Lokesh’s padayatra.

Achchennaidu said that the survey conducted by the I PAC team has revealed that the situation of the ruling party is dangerous and if TDP and Janasena contest together in the next election, YCP will lose its address. He criticized the government for resorting to partisan measures.
