Puri Jagannath‘s upcoming movie Liger is heading for its theatrical release on August 25th. The film is currently on its promotions stage and is showing rampage in various parts of the world and the promotions have almost come to an end ahead of its release. 

The latest update is that the creators of the film are restricting to release it on OTT at the earliest, after its theatrical release. Recently, Tollywood Active Producers’ Guild has also announced that every film should have its OTT release, only after 8 weeks from its theatrical release. So, the team is looking to follow the new rule.

The news was revealed by Vishu Reddy, who plays villain role in Liger. He said, “Liger is a must-watch film that is to be watched only in theatres. It isn’t apt to watch on OTT. It won’t arrive on OTT anytime soom. It will be available on OTT only after 8 weeks from its theatrical release. To enhance the theatrical experience, director Puri Jagannath is still focusing on its post production works.”

Liger has Ananya Panday as the female lead alongside Vijay Devarakonda. Ramyakrishna, Mike Tyson, Ronit Roy and others will be seen in important roles. Dharma Productions and Puri Connects are the production houses.
